The Sullivan Architectural Group was established in 1984. From the start, consistent dedication to responsive client service and design excellence has enabled the firm to complete more than three hundred building projects throughout Connecticut and the Northeast.

The firm is a Connecticut corporation with a staff of eight professionals providing comprehensive site feasibility analysis and architectural services.

The firm strives to maintain a strong standing in each of the three areas vital to successful architectural design: design of the highest quality, thorough technical understanding and ability, and sound financial and management practices. The Sullivan Architectural Group is structured to offer each of its clients all the advantages of a personalized practice, while providing the full range of resources needed to successfully accomplish diverse and complex building types.

Owner and Principal Architect of the firm, Mr. Talamo received his professional degree at Roger Williams School of Architecture and has over 25 years of professional practice with SAG. Sal’s abilities have allowed him to design and develop a broad range of building genres through his career for a divers clientele, whether it be high end residential, multi-family or commercial. His approach is to lead a service-based office, offering clients an efficient and effective design approach, as well as providing a timeless and tasteful building environment.

Mr. Sullivan has maintained his Architectural practice for the past 40 years. In that time, and in particular within the last 15 years, Mr. Sullivan has designed thousands of multi-family units in Connecticut and New York. The Sullivan Architectural Group has a strong design team, and the design approach is unique to all projects depending on the site, owner preferences, adjacent parcels and community character.

Originally from North Haven, CT, Jonathan graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture in 2008 from Roger Williams University in Bristol RI. Soon after returning to his hometown, he joined the Sullivan Architectural Group and has been with the firm for 15+ years. Jonathan has gained extensive experience in both commercial retail design as well as multifamily residential design throughout his tenure at SAG. He currently resides in North Haven raising a young family with his wife Meredith and helping coach his son’s youth hockey teams.

MJ DZICZKOWSKI

Originally from Orange, CT. He received a bachelor of science in Architecture from The Catholic University of America in 2021 and a master’s degree in Architecture from Roger Williams University in 2023. MJ joined The Sullivan Architectural Group in 2023. As a project manager, MJ is responsible for design, drawing production and construction administration on several large projects throughout Connecticut. MJ currently resides in West Haven, CT with his wife.

Originally from Torrington Connecticut, David received his bachelor’s degree from Roger Williams School of Architecture in 2023. David joined SAG in the spring of 2024, maintaining his continuous pursuit of greater knowledge and desire to implement design into his professional life.

Sean Farrell was born in Queens, New York and raised in Orange, CT. In his new residence, he earned his Eagle Scout rank in 2018 with Troop 721 of Milford, CT. After High School, he moved to Bristol, RI where he attended Roger Williams University, and would graduate in 2024 with a Master’s Degree in Architecture. Sean joined SAG in the summer of 2025, with the objective to pursue his architecture license for the state of Connecticut.

Ashur graduated with a bachelor’s degree at Rhode Island School of Design in 2024, with a concentration in Nature, Culture, and Sustainability Studies. He is passionate about material use, functional design, and fine detail, and works in many mediums such as drawing, painting, woodwork, and metalwork, all of which inspire his architectural processes.

SHARLYNE RHODES

She manages daily office operations and staff meetings, conferences, and other special events. She ensures the efficiency of the team and procedures at the company thanks to her excellent organizational and leadership abilities. Sharlyne resides in Stratford with her husband and 2 children and enjoys perfecting her sourdough skills in her free time.
